We consider the design stage to be one of the most critical parts of any Fire alarm installation. If not carried out correctly, you could have a system that does not comply with regulations (I.S 3218:2013+A1:2019). A below standard installation may give out false alarms or at worse fail to detect fire correctly or not at all.

The installation of your Fire alarm system must not only comply with (IS 3218:2013+A1:2019) but also the current wiring regulations. Our engineers are competent in both aspects of installation. We will ensure that the alarm system is fitted in accordance with the plans and design specification.

This is considered possibly the most important step in the installation of the Fire alarm system. Farrelly Fm Services Ltd will ensure that the system is fitted as per the design specifications and drawings. We will also ensure that the system complies with current regulations. If unhappy with the system, our engineer will give a list of works to be carried out before a re-test is scheduled.   

Farrelly Fm Services Ltd can ensure your premises meet all the fire regulations regarding the number and type of Fire extinguishers required. All our installation team have been trained to the highest standards and all our extinguishers are manufactured to European standard EN3 under a strict quality-controlled system to I.S 291:2015. However, Fire extinguishers also require maintenance to ensure they will work when needed or are more importantly safe for the person using the Fire extinguisher. Farrelly Fm Services Ltd supplies and services all types of Fire extinguishers to I.S 291:2015.

All our smoke ventilation systems comply with current fire and building regulations, and we can provide everything from single automatic opening vents, to multi-zone installations interfaced with Fire alarm and building management systems. We can also perform first fix wiring installation if required. We also guarantee to never install a ‘closed protocol’ system, allowing you to choose who maintains your system in the future.
